YL Essential Bits 456

Hello Everyone!
Young Living's Frankincense essential oil is FREE the month of November, with each 225pv order! That is a $91.78 (retail value), gift from Young Living!

Frankincense is one of the essential oils I always have available!!!---ever since I heard the account, years ago, of a man who was dying of liver cancer and was in extreme pain that even morphine would no longer touch. The man's wife met someone, during this time, who used YLEO's, and suggested she try frankincense for her husband's pain. After applying the Frankincense over the man's liver area, there was no more pain, and hehad a peaceful transition. Frankincense is one of the only substances known that crosses the blood-brain barrier, thus making it a very important aspect of brain cancer treatment. As well as for all tumors, in conjunction with other essential oils specific to other organs, etc., as many studies have shown frankincense to be anti-tumoral, and effective in tumor reduction and elimination.

Here’s an excerpt from Immunologist Mahmoud Suhail who is intending to open a new chapter in the history of frankincense…

“Cancer starts when the DNA code within the cell’s nucleus becomes corrupted,” he says. “It seems frankincense has a re-set function. It can tell the cell what the right DNA code should be. “Frankincense separates the ‘brain’ of the cancerous cell – the nucleus – from the ‘body’ – the cytoplasm, and closes down the nucleus to stop it reproducing corrupted DNA codes.”

Working with frankincense could revolutionize the treatment of cancer. Currently, with chemotherapy, doctors blast the area around a tumour to kill the cancer, but that also kills healthy cells, and weakens the patient. Treatment with frankincense could eradicate the cancerous cells alone and let the others live.

Bi-polar disorder or manic depression..........

Like millions of Americans I suffer from bi-polar disorder, otherwise known as manic depression. For over a decade now I have taken many of the latest medications used to stabilize mood swings. I continue to take these medicines and will do so in the future as they help a great deal. However, these pills do not cure the disease nor do they create a sense of joy or well being.

Several months ago my masseuse, an essential oil distributer, introduced me to Young Living products and I have not looked back. My depressions have lessened and my sense of self has been dramatically improved. There is now a joy in living that I have not felt in years. I am still experimenting with different oils but have found some constants already. I use Joy, Peace and Calming, Valor, Ylang Ylang, SARA, Lavender, and now I have added Frankincense, Rosewood and Brain Power (an especially effective oil). I rub them on the bottom of my feet, on my neck, on my chest, and inhale them with the diffuser. I should add that my wife now uses essential oils and is completely sold on them.

I published a book on manic depressive disorder and should there be a second edition I will add a chapter on essential oils. They have brought me to a new level of health and well being and I gratefully share these experiences with others.

.....In addition for bi-polar and other mental issues.....

Lisa, Gary talked about this at convention. He mentioned that we need more enzymes. Everything we eat is deficient of enzymes in our modern-day diet.

(Susan's note: Mostly due to minerals lacking in the soil, so plants don't pick up adequate quantities when growing.)

Even our children and teens are deficient, leading to what could be many physical and mental issues. When Gary mentioned bi-polar, he said to add enzymes to diet. We now have Essentialzyme 4--you take two each meal. We also learned that the enzymes don't simply go into digesting what we eat, but will also break down in the system for much needed amino acids.

Successful PMS recipe............................

Susan's note: I would try it for depression, mood swings, etc., also!

Hi Betty -
I started to PMS and thought I would try the oils this time around. I started taking, in gelcaps, 3 drops of Bergamot, 3 drops of Lavender, 3 drops of Valor and I like to always add Frankincense 3 drops.I feel like the Frankincense ties together whatever I'm mixing. 1 gelcap every 4 hours. I felt soooooooooo good that I continued through my cycle. I usually get VERY PAINFUL periods. I have been diagnosed with desmenoria.... which really means they don't know what is causing the pain. I bloat an enormous amount. I am happy to report I had no bloating! Whenever I would feel that I would start to cramp I would take another gelcap. It was wonderful! Apart from no pain...it was miraculous that I had no bloating. O.k.... I started to work out the following week so that means lactic acid build up...SORE MUSCLES... I continued the gelcaps every 4 hours. Guess what? no muscle soreness. I was tired from workouts but NOT SORE!!!! All of this for me IS A MAJOR BREAKTHROUGH!!!!!!

also, using Frankincense on a dog's issue.....

Also, I am going to tell you my yorkie had an inflamed ear.....I swiped a q-tip with Lavender and Frankincense for a couple of days now 2 times a day and swelling is gone. I am so happy with the oils!!!!!!!!!! Best of luck to you... try it, it can not hurt.

Getting rid of MRSA.....................

ROT = Rosemary, Oregano, and Thyme. Two to Four drops each in a gelatin capsule. Three times per day for three weeks. Go off for a week to let the liver recover from the oregano. Then, resume the regimen or do a month of Inner Defense capsules (one per day). If takes a while to get the MRSA out of your system, but this does work.

If you can get into a tub, take a epsom salts & baking soda bath every day. You can add some essential oils to the bath--- lemongrass, RC, melrose, lavender (for skin healing), melaleuca alternafolia.

Susan's note: melaleuca and lemongrass are particualrly powerful for treating MRSA.

The final thing is clorox underclothes, towels and bed linens. You can use oils to disinfect these, but I find it cheaper and easier to just put diluted clorox in the washer for these. I dilute 1/4 cup clorox with 3/4 water and add it to the washer after the water fills up. Only use the towels once (don't share towels! use paper towels instead of a hand towel by the sink) and change bed linens at least once a week, more is preferrable if you are sleeping with a spouse.

All the best,
Susan Cochran

....emphasizing the effectiveness of lemongrass!....

Dear Eileen,
I had MRSA in my foot (from a brown recluse spider bite) for over a year. And in my case, I used many oils on it with no lasting results. I finally soaked my foot in a half bottle of YL's lemongrass. It took several hours to absorb all the oil. I repeated this process the next day. On the third day my foot started oozing infection (MRSA) and was much better. I repeated this over process a few times over the following weeks to make sure I got it all.
Sally

Susan's note: I love the ingenuity of those using these oils!

For massage therapists - How to share Young Living Essential Oils......
....but, Everyone can benefit from this information.........

HI there,

I am a massage therapist and have used the oils in my practice since I started YL three years back. What I do is :

1. I have a flyer posted that I created about the benefits of YL oils

2. When I have a new client and have cleared that they are not sensitive to scent I tell them I run a diffuser in the room and I offer them a few scents to choose from. I then run the diffuser with th oil they choose.

3. I also let them know that the oils can help open up the muscles and support emotional and spiritual process. I ask them if they would be comfortable with me using them in the massage. I then apply one or two. (Initially , when I was first learning about the oils, the oils taught me about themselves through putting them on my clients. I always use one of the hotter oils for muscles, but now find that I am alwasy intuitively led to put an emotional oil on them. My clients now just ask what I have used and proceed to tell me why I chose that. LOL I am amazed how the oils talk to me and how my clients resonate with them and allow them to open up and release stuck feelings. )

4. At the end of the massage I ask them about their experience and if they are interested in getting their own oils to support them that I can let them know how.

5. Periodically I will suggest/offer a Rain drop treatment at my massage cost and those have generally been the clients that have signed up. After they see the benefits of that treatment and that the price I charge for a Raindrop is much more than a massagebc of the cost of the oils and that they can save by buying the kit. THey then bring their own oils for their treatments and I cont. to charge my massage price.

6. I have a lot of clients that "emote" on the table. I have offered oil sample bottles to support them when they go home. From that I have had clients then puchase some oils.

7. I also offer home gatherings that I invite my clients to to learn about the oils. HeartCentered Sharing by Vicky Opfer is one of my preferred ways to share the oils. I also combine that with T. Seacrest's Power Point presentation and connect my computer to a tv to share it. Most of my down line has come from this way of sharing.

What I have discovered is that as the oils become part of your life talking about them becomes easier bc you are having your own experiences with them. I hope some of this is helpful.....

........also........

I've been sharing oils with massage clients for years. Just using them in a session usually makes clients inquire "what is that and how can I get some?" Most of my sessions begin with Valor on the feet (or Peace & Calming, depending on the client) and then having the client inhale a drop from my hands as they "take a nice deep breath" to start the session. I also explain what oil or oils I'm using in a session and why I'm using them (often I do this after the session, to avoid interrupting the flow of the massage with talk), just as part of my general education. If they ask me to order some for them, I tell them "Well, I COULD order for you, but wouldn't you like to be able to buy your own oils whenever you want?" If I have time, I briefly explain about becoming a distributor--a few times I have actually gone right to my computer and signed them up on the spot! Or else I invite them to an upcoming class about essential oils so they can learn more...or, I ask them when we can chat on the phone in the next day or so if they really seem interested. I never like to push...I just share and let clients come to me if they want to know more.

I also offer Raindrop Technique and suggest that clients try a session at the start of flu season or if they have back pain. It's a perfect opportunity to explain about the benefits of essential oils! Raindrop can be a powerful advertisement for Young Living and I've had several people enroll as a result of how they felt afterwards.

Hope this is helpful.

For those who are interested in more information on creating and growing a Young Living business................

from Young Living Crown Diamond extraodinaire! (my emphasis!) Vicki Opfer.....

Susan's note: Vicki is such an inspiration to anyone who has contact with her so I felt moved to share this email that was posted on an online YLEO group today.

Hi Sarah and GreaterJoy Friends,

I would love to contribute some insight here...

People come into Young Living for many different reasons. Some just want to use the products. Some simply want to share with 1-2 friends. Some want to educate. Some want to retail the products. Some want to use the products in their health care practices. Some decide to take the next step and share in a more organized way to create either a small business, or a large business.

When I came into Young Living, I had an "allergy" to network marketing. After using the oils secretly for 2 years, I had 24 people who has "sneaked into my downline, against my wishes." At that point, I realized the profound healing available with this modality, and I began to have small sharing events with the people already in my group who wanted to share, also. 2 1/2 years later, I became the second Diamond in Young Living.

Interestingly, the bigger the classes became, the lower the number of enrollments. Today, I understand that sharing with others, and building a Young Living business is available to anyone who is willing to learn the concepts and the skills required. It is not about being certified, or being an expert. In fact, those can actually slow the growth of a business. Keep reading, and you'll discover why this is....

Harmony, Joy, and Abundance is a small book, with 2 CD's, that describes how to start talking to people about Young Living. It's available through Life Science Publishing (who publish and sell the desk reference). One CD is me reading the book, and the other is me offering a 30 minute introduction to Young Living oils and other products (not the business). That's a perfect place for people to get started in the sharing process! And this is perfect for people whose goal is simply to share with a few friends.

So that's the beginning of the story. The next step is to begin to have small duplicable events, which is described in great detail in "Heart Centered Sharing" which is a FREE Word file that may be published in 2012. I'd love to take credit for this file, but it truly is a culmination of 1,000's of events offered by courageous leaders in my own organization, as well as other organizations.

What is "duplication?" People, sharing with people, sharing with people. Why is "duplication" so important?

If we enroll 2 people a month, we feel pretty good. At the end of the year, we will have added 24 people to our organization. Maybe 25-30 if some of them share, also.

However, if, instead, we enroll 2 people a month for a year, and then help them enroll 2 people the next month, and then those 2 enroll 2, etc., at the end of the year, we would have 531,440 people in our organization. The difference is absolutely astounding, isn't it? This math is found in the "Business Model 2012" download below.

One model gives us addition, and the other gives us multiplication.

What is the difference?

Any way of sharing is always wonderful. However, if we can learn how to share in a profound, life-changing, and yet duplicable way, the results can be extraordinary.

So for those of you who are interested in either sharing with a few friends or building a substantial business (or anywhere in between), order and read Harmony, Joy, and Abundance first. It will give you an excellent foundation. You can order it http://www.lifesciencepublishers.com/
It's a tax deductible investment, and I think, including shipping, it will cost about $25-$30.

Next, read and re-read the following download, posted today, which is a short look at our business: http://tinyurl.com/YLBusinessModel2012 You will need to understand and integrate into your thinking the difference between addition and multiplication in order to create a way of sharing that will give you the results that you want.

Then, download Heart Centered Sharing - Summer 2011 at www.tinyurl.com/hcs-s-2011

This file is very long and detailed. You absolutely need to print it out, put it in a 3-ring binder, and go through it page by page. Otherwise, it's of little value as a Word file. Part 1 is beginning sharing. Part 2 is very detailed and contains a longer scripted outline for sharing at home or office events. You will need to make a copy of the outline, and make notes in the margins of your own experiences and stories. Make it yours.

Make a commitment to hold at least 1 small, duplicable event every month for 2 years - in addition to everything else you are doing with Young Living. It will take having 4-5 of these before you are truly comfortable with the model. The idea is to share and help people set up their accounts and order, have them come back with friends, and eventually, some of them will "launch" out of your events, and begin to have their own events. That's multiplication. You can't make anyone do anything. It must be their idea, which will happen when they watch you the first time, come back with friends a couple of times, and then say to themselves, "I can do this!"

As many of you know, regardless of upline, or downline, I'm dedicated to creating as much outreach as possible, during my lifetime, of Young Living's oils and other products. Together, we can change the world of health care. People all over the world can live longer, healthier, and happier lives.

I hope that you will let me know how our Heart Centered Sharing model is working for you.

Love,
Vicki
